GAMERANGER ENTICES PREY
Perth, Western Australia -- January 9, 2007 -- Scott Kevill, president, GameRanger Technologies, today announced the addition of a new game title to GameRanger, the leading Macintosh online gaming service. In addition to over 150 previous titles, gamers can now play Prey.
Prey tells the story of Tommy, a Cherokee garage mechanic stuck on a reservation going nowhere. His life changes when an otherworldly crisis forces him to awaken spiritual powers from his long-forgotten birthright. Abducted along with his people to a menacing mothership orbiting Earth, he sets out to save himself and his girlfriend and eventually his planet. Prey features portal technology that adds a new dimension to gameplay, allowing enemies to appear out of thin air and create new and completely original puzzles, and multiplayer game support that takes advantage of the unique gameplay styles.
GameRanger provides hours of entertainment for interactive game players around the world, supporting online multiplayer gameplay for over 150 game titles, with highlights including Age of Empires III, Age of Mythology, Call of Duty 2, Command & Conquer Generals, Ghost Recon, Imperial Glory, Risk II, and Scrabble.
GameRanger is the first and largest internet multiplayer game matchmaking service for the Macintosh. Introduced over seven years ago, the GameRanger community is home to over 250,000 registered members playing more than 150 popular game titles spanning classic, action, strategy and simulation. GameRanger Technologies is located in Perth, Australia.
